"CALIFORNIA DREAMING" - Day 5

-MONDAY, September 29th, 2008-
~HERITAGE LAKES POOL~
This morning Emily, Natalie, Addison and the kids and I met up with Emily's friend, Shannon, and her kids Dylan and Eden. Since she lives in this area, she's a member and can therefore use this pool. It was a GORGEOUS pool and right behind it was a lake. I sat on the chair and was amazed that I could see mountains and palm trees and a lake while at a pool! They even had a splash pool and a playground in separate areas around the pool.
Jaren trying on Aubrey's shoes. He has a serious thing with shoes. Whatever he sees... sooner or later he'll be clomping around in them!
I LOVE this picture of Addison! How adorable is she?!

Oliver and his belly flops into the pool.

We were the only ones there!!

I LOVE PALM TREES!

~CLUB LIBBY LU~

Eden discovered some glitter left at her table when she sat down... AND... well... you know what they say about GLITTER... "Glitter is the herpes of craft supplies". Thank you, Dimitri Martin.

Ahhhhh... Glitter on the nails, eh?! Glitter stickers AND make up soon to follow!

"Who is that girl I see... staring straight back at me..." (music from "MULAN")

Cue the disco ball!

Eden couldn't do an updo with her hair because it was too short, so she opted for a "Hannah Montana" wig! I could tell she was lovin' it!

Who couldn't love that face? What a cutie!

Eden... ahem... I mean TRACEY, her alter-ego, ready to rock and roll!
Aubrey getting glitterized!

Eden picking out her puppy, later named "BUTTERSCOTCH".

Puppies, collars, outfits AND purses... OH MY!!!
"The Pooch Parlor"

Diva... times two!
***I tried to upload the video of the girls singing "The Best of Both Worlds", but, to no avail***
Eden saw Elvis just standing by the door and she just had to get her photo taken with him!

After we left the "Club", we walked through the mall and out the door. As we were walking back to the car, a little girl was tailing Eden and reached up and touched her shiny new locks! She was probably around 18 months or two years old. It was so cute! Eden really got a kick out of it!
~THE WII ~
This is what Ollie did most of the time!!!

Playing LEGO Star Wars in the family room which was once the garage!

~A BEADING FRENZY~

Earlier we stopped by JoAnn's SUPER store and got some beads for the kids to make necklaces and bracelets. I hope they had fun!

Soccer and Swimming With Friends

We finally went to Saandi's soccer game and met up with his Dad, who was the coach, and his sisters, Sanda and Amanda.

Here are Ollie, crazy boy, Sanda and Jaren. (The two girls just LOVE Jaren! They always give him hugs when we are leaving my mom's house. Usually he's already in his car seat!)

Here is Saandi going for the ball. He is #10. The only time Oliver plays soccer is when he's at my mom's house. I never played soccer, so he's learned most about it through Saandi teaching him.

Amanda and Eden playing together. They would just wander around playing while I sat with Jaren. They were just interested in each other! It was a beautiful day!

Jaren and Grandma Young playing at the pool! We would usually go during "Toddler Time" when we had the baby side of the pool for an hour until the pool actually opened. This was more relaxing for us, less kids... less splashing... you get the idea! I used to just hold him all the time, but I bought this floatie with his birthday money from Grandpa and Grandma Boardsen. He absolutely LOVED it!

Eden, Sayde (was in Eden's PreK class), Sanda and Amanda. Too cute!!!
