More About Me Monday - TV FAVORITES

Well, there are "Self Portrait Tuesdays...SPT" and "Flashback Fridays" so I thought I'd make up my own... "More About Me Mondays". I guess this is to delve deeper into the person that is... ME! Soooooo... tonight we will talk about my favorite T.V. shows. The ones marked with an asterisk are "must see" shows. All the others I would catch if I happened to have the T.V. on.

*1. "The Office" - the premise of this show is an office setting with the stereotypical office co-workers and crazy boss that makes most people feel uncomfortable at certain times in their day. There is a video crew that captures the moments in the lives of these office workers; the accountants, salespeople and warehouse employees. It is HILARIOUS! We have 3 seasons on DVD.

*2. "24" - Okay... now talk about addictive... this show has you on the edge of your seat begging for more. We started watching it in the middle of season 4 and were hooked. During the season, we rented the past seasons, disc after disc, and could not stop watching it! I remember that Ed and I were on different discs, due to him working overnights at Roy's house, and he was getting caught up to me, but I was in the other room watching the new episodes. He threatened to take the DVD's to Roy's so that I wouldn't watch them without him! It is a series that takes place in one day. Jack Bauer, an agent with CTU, the Counter Terrorist Unit based out of Los Angeles, deals with extremely dangerous situations and extremely dangerous people that pose a threat to the United States in one way or another. Action packed and seriously addictive. We never miss an episode! We have 6 seasons on DVD.

*3. "Survivor" season 1 thousand... I think it's like season 13 or whatever. I've been watching it since the beginning. It's a reality T.V. show on CBS that gathers about 18 strangers and takes them to remote locations around the world to see who is the ultimate survivor. They compete in different challenges to try and get the immunity idol. The team that doesn't win the immunity idol that week, goes to tribal counsel and they anonymously vote off one person from their tribe.

*4. "American Idol" is another reality television show which showcases peoples' singing talent or... lack of... singing talent.

5. "Everybody Loves Raymond" Reruns

6. "King of Queens" Reruns

7. "The Wonder Years" Reruns

8. "Roseanne" Reruns

9. "The Singing Bee"

10. "20/20" OR "48 hours Mystery" OR other shows like that if they have something interesting on that night.

11. "Jeopardy" or... well most game shows. I'm a game show junkie. I really like trivia type games... "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?", "Wheel of Fortune"... games like that.

12. "Ellen" - she's hilarious, "The View" - sometimes it gets annoying with them all talking over each other, "Live with Regis & Kelly". I don't watch "Oprah" much anymore because she seems to have an aire about her like she's a god or something... the way she holds her arms out and embraces people and the look she has on her face when she does it... just annoys me. She doesn't seem like the same person she was several years ago.

We only get 14 channels on our T.V. We get:
Ion (2)
ABC (3)
QVC (4)
Fox (6)
The Weather Channel (7)
Whatever channel the Montel Williams show is on (8)
TV Guide Channel (9)
Discovery (10)
NBC (11)
Iowa Public Television (12)
CBS (13)
WGN(14)
The WB (20)
We (78)

Soooooo... I would like to have TLC, HGTV, and lots of others, BUT I'm glad we don't because I would NEVER get anything done!

So there is my first "More About Me Monday" blog. I hope you liked it! Happy TV watching!!!

I am suprised that you have an asterick on Survivor since until "the whore" was voted off, you weren't watching?

Well... I didn't want to watch her because her boobs were always hangin' loose. Not my idea of great television. When she was voted off... then I didn't have to see her, so I could start watching it again! (YOU KNOW THAT!!!)
